Why this weight loss program?

Sceptical, I searched for information on Dr. A. T. W. Simeon's work. What I found was a study on a 'New Approach to Obesity".  For the first time, I read something that caused an 'ah ha' moment and gave me hope.

I had given up. Surrendered to the inevitable effects of aging.  in the last... at least 3 yrs.,  nothing I did worked.  Previously, if I gained a few pounds, I could  manage it.  Just cut out the junk food for a few days and voila. Cut down on sugar replaced it with Splenda.  Exercise; As a New Yorker walking about is a way of life.

Long ago, I had read that fat cells always stay with you.  Dieting merely shrinks the cells like a balloon that has been deflated.  Ugh.  So why bother getting into this constant battle to loss wt..  Health.  I wasn't obese.  Size 14.  Something I had never seen before.  Size 16 was not welcomed and to be avoided.  Hope,  prayers  and sheer will power, kept me in line...a bit. I was shocked when I overheard my son saying "she always maintained her weight at 120, 125."   "Really?" I thought.  Yes.  What happened?

Now, I have  Dr. A. T. W. Simeon's 'Pounds and Inches Manuscript' which I read and reread.  (See Free Goodies, a link to the manuscipt, a must read.)
He writes about 3 types of fat:


  1. Structural fat:  fills the gaps between various organs, beds the kidneys in soft elastic tissue, protects the coronary arteries, keeps the skin soft and taut and provides the springy cushion of hard fat under the bones of the feet, without which we would not be able to walk.
  2. Normal Reserve:  The body withdraws fat from this reserve to use as fuel, when the nutritional income is not sufficient to meet the needs of the body. Both are normal.  But here comes the 3rd.
  3. Abnormal Reserve:  also a potential reserve for fuel but, NOT available.

Among the examples of ways one feeds the abnormal reserve Dr. Simeon writes:
Diencephalon (Red area)
When a person suffers a long period of privation, be it due to chronic illness, poverty, famine or the exigencies of war, his diencephalic regulations adjust themselves to some extent to the low food intake. When then suddenly these conditions change and he is free to eat all the food he wants, this is liable to overwhelm his fat-regulating center. During the WWII about 6000 grossly underfed Polish refugees who had spent harrowing years in Russia were transferred to a camp in India where they were well housed, given normal British army rations and some cash to buy a few extras. Within about three months, 85% were suffering from obesity.
Long period of privation.  There was my 'Ah ha' moment.

You see, It will be 3 yrs in March when I suffered an illness where I was unable to hold food in my system, hospitalized for 14 days and bedridden for 3 months .  (I'm healthy now, long recovery. The Dr's. could not believe how well I've done after being at deaths door). 

No wonder I gained so much weight!  No wonder I haven't been able to loss it! 

OK.  So where is the key, that will give me access to this abnormal reserve.  It is HCG.  I use it as drops in a Homeopathic Weight Loss Protocol.

Before reading the manuscript I read about the protocol and recipes.  No Sugar.  No Starches.  for at least 2 months.  I can't do that.  OMG.  No way.  But after reading the document, I made a commitment to myself.  YES, I can! . Possibility was resurrected!

Dr. Simeon covers a great deal in his manuscript.  It's a must read. (See Free Goodies)  If you are even considering this weight loss path, please, please get informed.  Each individual is a world to itself.  I'm sure your personal concern has been address by Dr Simeon.

I am not a doctor. nor in the medical profession.  I am just a woman who wants to live her best life; mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.
